The purpose of the research is to find out the forms of congenital eye and adnexial anomalies seen within the eye clinic of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano, Nigeria between the years 2001 to 2005. The commonest congenital anomalies are buphthalmos in 38%, cataracts in 35%, and naso lachrymal duct obstruction in 14%.
